Our objectives
DHS Consulting World’s main objective is to contribute to a future where health systems are robust and sustainable, ensuring the well-being of individuals and communities in Africa and globally. To achieve this goal, we conduct rigorous social science studies and research that provide crucial evidence for sustainable health development. We provide technical assistance to health and other institutions and professionals in developing and implementing effective health policies. And we carry out a range of actions designed to improve the health and well-being of populations, particularly in the most vulnerable regions

Social Science Studies and Research
We conduct high-quality social science studies and research́ to support informed decision-making and health policy development. Our research projects aim to identify health dis-eases and opportunities, assess the impact of public health interventions and propose evidence-based solutions. This is done through exploration, stakeholder involvement, planning, design of tools, surveys, processing, analysis of data, whether qualitative and/or quantitative, drafting of survey reports, dissemination of results at national, regional and/or international level. Monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes
We help organisations, at their convenience, to set up a monitoring and evaluation plan or a monitoring and evaluation system, and we facilitate the design of logical frameworks or theories of change by involving stakeholders. We plan data collection and analysis (including tool development), data organisation, information flow and reporting requirements, reflection and event processes, resources and skills: project and programme assessment.
The assessments cover a range of different forms: Ex-ante evaluation, mid-term evaluation, final evaluation, etc..
Technical assistance to structures
We support, but do not take the place of, the structures concerned, helping them to develop their skills and operate more effectively towards autonomy and sustainability.
We take account of the strategies and policies of governments on the basis of their needs.
Some members of this group of consultants have provided technical support to government health ministries, both in setting up health system analysis tools and in implementing projects.
Their skills also extend to the development of training modules linked to the transfer of skills in the field of technical support.
These include technical assistance in setting up health system analysis tools and technical assistance in setting up a hospital cost accounting system.
Project design and budget monitoring
We also design projects, ensuring that they are well planned, realistic and focused on concrete results. We also specialise in budget design and monitoring, ensuring rigorous and transparent financial management throughout the project life cycle. This guarantees not only the effectiveness and efficiency of our interventions, but also their long-term sustainability.
